Safety & FAA-Compliant Drone Operations

Professional drone work requires more than strong flying and a good camera. Sky Squad Aerial evaluates each mission around the location, airspace, aircraft, people, access, environment, and intended operation before confirming the flight plan.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC PLANNING

Our planning process may include airspace review, site assessment, weather monitoring, aircraft selection, crew roles, visual-observer needs, takeoff and landing areas, separation from non-participants, emergency procedures, and coordination with the client or site representative.

PART 107 OPERATIONS

Commercial small-drone operations in the United States generally fall under FAA Part 107. The remote pilot in command must hold the appropriate certificate and remain responsible for the safety and legality of the flight. Additional requirements or authorizations may apply depending on airspace and the requested operation.

NIGHT AND OPERATIONS OVER PEOPLE

Night flights and operations near or over people are evaluated individually and conducted only when the aircraft, pilot, site, and operating plan satisfy applicable FAA requirements or approved authorization conditions.

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS BEFORE LAUNCH

If a requested shot cannot be completed safely or legally as proposed, we will explain the constraint and recommend a practical alternative whenever possible.
